AKWAABA EXPERIENCE

A BIPOC International Educator Professional Development Retreat
(It’s not a conference)

The time has come for BIPOC International Educators (IEs) to explore the African Diaspora, understanding and reclaiming the 400 years of culture lost through the transatlantic slave trade. Through a transparent lens of unparalleled truth, Study Abroad 4711’s Akwaaba Experience in Ghana offers an opportunity for experiential learning and professional development in Ghana. This Professional Development Retreat is a space for an immersive experience, honest reflections, and engagement with the rich culture that Ghana embodies.

StudyAbroad 4711 warmly invites BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and All People of Color) to our inaugural international education retreat. We’re excited to announce that membership in NAFSA’s BMCPIE is absolutely free and open to all, including those who are not NAFSA members. Immersing in Ghana’s vibrant culture will elevate your productivity, creativity, and professional growth. Join us in Ghana and challenge yourself to a journey of knowledge, enlightenment, and truth.
