Program Overview

Business Arabic • Global Strategy • Experiential Learning

Step into one of the world’s most influential global business hubs and experience international business where globalization lives and works.

This faculty-led program, pioneered and funded by Amazon and academically designed by the Virginia Union University School of Business, immerses students in the study of how global enterprises are built—from the classroom to the corporate floor.

Learn the Language of Global Business

Hosted by ALC Dubai, students receive on-site orientation and Business Arabic instruction, gaining practical language skills used in professional and corporate settings across the Middle East. Language learning deepens cultural understanding and prepares students to engage confidently in international business environments.

See How Global Business Leaders Are Trained

Students explore how business leaders and “global gurus” are developed through academic strategy by observing and auditing a university-level business class for a day. This experience offers insight into how higher education prepares executives to lead and scale multinational enterprises.

Experience Global Business in Action

Students complete an applied Amazon case study at an Amazon Warehouse in Dubai, examining real-world logistics, operations, innovation, and global supply-chain strategy. This hands-on experience connects theory to practice in a live global market.

Dubai: A Living Case Study of Globalization

Dubai serves as the ultimate classroom—where language, culture, education, and corporate power intersect. Students witness globalization firsthand while developing the skills, perspective, and confidence needed to operate in a global economy.
