The University of Ghana, the premier university in Ghana, was founded as the University College of the Gold Coast by Ordinance on August 11, 1948, for the purpose of providing and promoting university education, learning, and research. TWO pairs of courses are offered, and participants may select one pair:
- Africa and the Diaspora and African Arts, its Philosophy and Criticism
- Appropriate Technology for Development in Africa and Gender and Culture in Africa
Each pair of academic courses counts for 6 credits, with 4 lecture sessions a week for 10 weeks.
